How copyright owners can send infringement notices and how users can respond to copyright removals.
Updated May 21, 2026
If you believe content on Hopy infringes your copyright, send a notice that identifies the copyrighted work, the allegedly infringing content, your contact details, and a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized.
Your notice should also include a statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the copyright owner.
If your content was removed because of a copyright notice and you believe the removal was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice with the required legal statements and contact information.
We may restrict or terminate accounts that repeatedly infringe copyright or repeatedly submit abusive copyright claims.
